Biography

French, born in 1972.

 At 22, Olivier start photography while he was student in Sociology.

Based in Paris since 1996, he started to travel and take photographs in Poland, in China and the Middle East, a region he still visits frequently.

His work has been shown in the modern art museum of Guangzhou in China during the photo Biennal in 2005. His work has been exhibited in the Centro Recoletta in Buenos Aires during the festival of Light in 2004, in the Modern Art Museum of  Champlitte in France in 2004, in 2003 in the Deutsches Film Museum of Frankfurt and in Les Rencontres d'Arles in the old train station during Walk on the Web Side and during the Transphotographiques of Lille in 2003.

In 2006 he received a grant from the french Ambassade in Beijing, for his project « Discrete Histories » in the city of Guangzhou in China.

In 2005 he received a support from Fuji film for his project Somewhere in The Middle East.

In 2004 he received equipement support from Leica Camera Germany for the European enlargement project and the publi-editorial project with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the French Cultural Center of Frankfurt.
